The South Florida Calligraphy Guild was founded in February, 1981. It is a non-profit Florida Corporation dedicated to originating, supporting and promoting activities and communication in the field of calligraphy and the related arts.
Our guild meetings are held quarterly, generally the second Saturday of January, April, July, and October, 10:00 am to 12:30pm, at the Hallandale Beach Public Library at 300 South Federal Highway, Hallandale Beach FL 33009
​Membership is $30 per year. New members are welcome.

At South Florida Calligraphy Guild, our mission is to create a safe, communal space for all kinds of artists - beginners to professionals - to come together and express their creative sides. We believe in unlocking the creative within each and every one of us, and offer multiple workshops a year for all students. Whether you’re a professional looking for new inspiration, a brand new student hoping to learn a thing or two about calligraphy, or if you’re simply interested in picking up a new hobby, South Florida Calligraphy Guild is here to welcome you into the fold.
